uPVC Window and Door Installation

uPVC joinery is a window and door system that provides thermal and acoustic insulation with little maintenance. Three things decide how it performs: the quality of the profile, the type of glass and how well the installation is sealed. Miss the third and the first two stop mattering.

Scope

What we do

We handle the work below from one place. Surveys and quotations are free in Kemalpasa and the surrounding area.

  • On-site measuring and system selection
  • Removal of the old frames
  • uPVC window installation (fixed, tilt and turn, sliding)
  • uPVC balcony and entrance doors
  • Insulated glazing unit replacement
  • Renewal and adjustment of gaskets, handles and hinges
  • Sealing after installation (foam and silicone) with internal and external sill detail

What We Watch For

The details that decide the quality

The seal decides the insulation

Even the best profile insulates nothing if the gap between frame and wall is not filled properly. The draught you feel on a windy day usually comes through that gap rather than through the glass.

Glass is chosen for the use

Thermal insulation, noise reduction and solar control come from different glass types. A facade onto a busy road may need noise first, a sun-facing one heat; the choice is made at the survey, facade by facade.

Replacement includes making good inside

Taking out old frames damages the plaster at the reveal, so repair work is needed. That item is forgotten in many quotations and appears later as an extra; we write it into the scope from the start.

FAQ

Answers before you ask.

Can I replace only the glass and keep the frames?

If the frames are sound and the gaskets are in good order, the glazing unit alone can be replaced. It is a common and economical fix for units that have misted up between the panes. Where the frames themselves are worn, glass alone will not deliver what you expect.

Will the walls be damaged during installation?

Some damage to the plaster at the edges is normal when old frames come out, which is why making good afterwards is part of the job. We write the scope into the quotation and do not ask for extras later.

My windows are misting up; is the joinery at fault?

Condensation on the glass surface is usually about humidity indoors and insufficient ventilation rather than a fault in the joinery. New, well-sealed windows make a home more airtight, so the humidity becomes more noticeable. We assess the situation at the survey and tell you the actual cause.
