Turnkey Renovation · Kemalpasa Ornekkoy

A full renovation of a home in Ornekkoy, Kemalpasa. Every trade from demolition to painting was run by a single team and the work was handed over in one month.

The problem

A family in Ornekkoy wanted their home renovated as a whole rather than one item at a time. They knew that a piecemeal renovation would keep the house a building site for months and would mean finding a separate trade for every job. What they asked for was a single point of contact and a defined end date.

The approach

The whole house was walked through during the survey and the order of works was set. In a turnkey job the sequence matters as much as the work itself. Wet rooms and pipework were placed first and painting was left to the end, so no finished surface had to be opened up again and the house became a site only once.

The work

The job started with demolition and waste removal. Water and electrical installations were renewed and waterproofing was rebuilt in the wet rooms. Floors, walls and ceilings followed, then joinery and paint. The final clean was part of the handover. Throughout the project it was clear which week each stage would take place.

The result

From survey to handover the work took one month. The house went through a single construction period and was handed back in one go. This is where a turnkey approach pays off, because run item by item the same job would have taken longer and put the house through dust more than once.
