Kemalpasa Renovation
Kemalpasa is where MOSTAR is based. Our shop sits at 93/1 Sokak No:12/A in the Sekiz Eylul neighbourhood, so the work starts and finishes in the same district. That detail matters more in renovation than it sounds. Nobody drives in from another city for the survey, a missing material does not hold the job up for days, and an installation date does not slip because the team is somewhere else.
Building Stock in the Area
What kind of work comes up in Kemalpasa?
Kemalpasa is not one single kind of place, and the work changes with it. The central neighbourhoods are mostly multi-storey apartment buildings, where scheduling revolves around neighbours and shared stairwells. Out towards Ulucak, Armutlu, Bagyurdu, Oren and Yukarikizilca you find detached houses with gardens, and there the outdoor work comes into play. On top of that, the businesses in the Kemalpasa Organised Industrial Zone bring their own category of office and shop fit-outs. Three quite different ways of working, all inside one district.
- Surveys are free and quick Survey and quotation are free anywhere inside Kemalpasa. In the central neighbourhoods we usually come the same day or the next morning. For the villages we agree a day in advance.
- Materials are in the same district Because the shop is local, anything missing mid-job is replaced the same day. With teams coming in from outside the area, this is where most of the time goes.
- Debris and cleaning We know we are working in a neighbourhood where people live. Debris is not left to pile up and the area is handed back clean.
- See the materials in person From tiles to taps, cabinet fronts to glazing systems, you can see samples at the shop. You are not obliged to choose from a catalogue.

Frequently asked about kemalpasa renovation
Do you work with clients who do not speak Turkish?
Yes. We handle the survey, the written quotation and the day-to-day updates in English when that is easier for you. Where something technical needs to be exact, such as a material specification or a scope boundary, we put it in writing so nothing depends on how a phone call was understood.
What should I look for when choosing a renovation contractor in Kemalpasa?
Three things. First, whether the job is actually inspected on site. Anyone quoting a figure over the phone is talking without knowing what is behind the wall. Second, whether the scope is written down, so it is clear from the start what is included and what is not. Third, where the contractor is based. Working with a team in the same district means problems get solved in hours rather than weeks. Finding a builder is not the hard part. Reaching them when something goes wrong is.
Can you manage the project if I am not in Izmir?
We do this regularly, most often for owners who live abroad or in another city. We agree the scope in writing before starting, send progress photographs at the stages that matter, and ask for your decision at the points where a choice actually changes the outcome. What we do not do is make material choices on your behalf and present them afterwards.
Do you build new houses as well?
No, and the distinction matters for your project. A construction firm handles new builds, licensed projects and structural inspection. What we do is renovation. Reworking the inside or the outside of a building that already exists. If your project is a new build, we are not the right address, and we would rather say so at the start.
How is the price decided, and when do I get a figure?
The price follows the scope, the materials and the condition of what is already there. Nothing else. We do not quote over the phone, because a figure given without seeing the space is misleading and usually ends in an argument later. After the survey you get a written quotation, and what it says is what applies.
Which neighbourhoods and villages of Kemalpasa do you cover?
All of them. The central neighbourhoods of Sekiz Eylul, Ataturk, Mehmet Akif Ersoy and Sogukpinar, along with Ulucak, Armutlu, Bagyurdu, Oren and Yukarikizilca. Each has a different building stock, so each has its own page. Outside Kemalpasa we also work in Bornova and Torbali.
Can single jobs be done without a full renovation?
Most of them, yes. Insect screens, shutters, shower enclosures, aluminium joinery, painting, tiling and flooring can all be arranged on their own. Plumbing, electrical work and steel security doors are the exception. We carry those out as part of a full renovation rather than as standalone services.
