Insect Screen Installation
An insect screen is a fine mesh panel fitted to a window or door opening. It lets air through and keeps flies and mosquitoes out. Choosing the right system depends on the type of window and on how often you actually use that opening.

We handle the work below from one place. Surveys and quotations are free in Izmir Kemalpasa and the surrounding area. For larger projects we work across all of Izmir.
- Pleated screens, fold to one side, practical for wide openings
- Sliding screens, run on a track, suited to balcony doors and large windows
- Hinged (door type) screens, for doorways used many times a day
- Fixed frame screens, the most economical answer for rarely opened windows
- Roller screens, wind up out of sight when not in use

The system follows your habits, not a catalogue
A balcony door you walk through several times a day is far easier to live with as a hinged or sliding screen. A kitchen window you rarely open is better served by a fixed frame, which costs less and lasts longer. We start from how you use the opening.
Measuring always happens on site
Window openings are rarely standard, especially in older buildings. A few millimetres of error leaves a gap at the edge of the screen, and that gap defeats the whole purpose of fitting one.
Pets change the mesh choice
Cat and dog claws tear standard mesh quickly. Where there are pets, a tougher mesh is the sensible choice. We ask about this during the survey.

How are insect screens measured?
On site. Openings in older buildings are rarely standard and a few millimetres of gap defeats the whole purpose. Measurement and quotation are free.
Can the mesh be replaced on its own?
If the frame is sound, yes, and that is cheaper than a full replacement. Where the frame has warped or the track is worn, replacing the mesh alone does not solve it.
Which type suits which window?
A door used many times a day works better as a hinged or sliding unit. A kitchen window that is rarely opened is best served by a fixed frame, which is both cheaper and longer lasting. Pleated systems fold away on wide openings.
Is a stronger mesh available for pets?
Yes. Claws tear standard mesh quickly, so a reinforced mesh is used in homes with cats or dogs. We ask about this during the survey.
How long does insect screen installation take?
Once measurements are taken, production usually runs 3 to 7 days. Fitting itself is quick per window. A home with a few windows is completed in a single visit, most often on the same day.
Will it damage my existing windows?
No. The systems are fitted to suit the window frame and, applied correctly, leave no lasting damage to the joinery. If you are renting and want something that can be removed and taken with you, say so at the start and we will suggest a system that allows it.
Can the mesh be replaced if it tears?
Yes. On most systems the frame stays in place and only the mesh is renewed, which costs far less than replacing the whole unit.
